WaterFurnace Geothermal Training

As WaterFurnace Geothermal technology advances, so does WaterFurnace training and education. Eden Energy Equipment (Ontario WaterFurnace Distributor) is committed to hosting WaterFurnace training courses by certified WaterFurnace Factory Instructors on a regular basis. These specialized courses keep Ontario WaterFurnace Dealers on the cutting edge; striving for excellence in their customer service. Industry professionals such as Architects, Designers, Engineers and Educators are also welcome to register for WaterFurnace training courses. Eden Energy Equipment is committed to building the awareness of geothermal technology, and specifically WaterFurnace Geothermal Equipment.

We offer two courses that are repeated throughout the year:

  • WaterFurnace Service and Installation
  • Geothermal Piping and Design

 

WaterFurnace Service and Installation:


Students learn the specifics of servicing and installing WaterFurnace geothermal systems. Students should have a thorough knowledge of air conditioning and electrical equipment before taking this course. Graduating students will earn WaterFurnace Factory Fusion Certification. Topics include:

  • Flow center installation, loop flushing/charging/pressure drop/antifreeze use/pressurization.
  • WaterFurnace Equipment (Premier, E Series, Synergy & Versatec) Installation, Connections,
  • Start-Up and Maintenance.
  • Intellizone system application, features, installation and maintenance
  • Equipment Accessories, auxiliary heater installation, thermostats
  • Servicing (refrigerant, nitrogen brazing, thermostatic expansion valves, filter-driers)

 

Geothermal Piping and Design:


Students will cover the design and installation of geothermal loop systems.
Graduating students will earn WaterFurnace Factory Fusion Certification. Topics include:

  • Site survey
  • Soil classification
  • Loop types
  • Vertical bores & grouting
  • Closed loop guidelines
  • Reduced headers
  • Fusion certification
  • Pump sizing & system purging
